Where Were We?

First blog in a few weeks, hello. It's difficult to blog sometimes. I hear something, get inspired; get home, forget my inspiration.

My posts are very often around a spiritual basis. This usually isn't intentional, but I find if Christ is truly the center of a life, shouldn't conversation of the Lord and His goodness somehow manage to squeeze itself into every topic and every theme, all of the time?

Luke 6:45 says, "The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." If we have our hearts overflowing with thoughts of Jesus Christ and how good He is to us, we will spill the beans about it, just like anything else we are proud of. We should be reminded of Him with even the littlest things, and we should strive to be close to Him all the time.

Every topic should come back to Jesus. Similar to reading God's word, exercising, or thinking positive thoughts, or the more it happens, the easier and more fulfilling it becomes. I want to be dying inside to talk about or with or to the Lord all the time.

Psalm 119: 10-14 says, "With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes! With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth. In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches." This will be my meditation for the week.

Few but rich thoughts for today; I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Much Love,
V
